Holy Communion is celebrated the first and fourth Sundays of the month and ALL are welcome to receive at the table.
We gather. We encounter God’s word. We share a meal at the Lord’s table. And we are sent into the world. But we do not think about worship so much in terms of what we do. Worship is fundamentally about what God is doing and our response to God’s action. Worship is an encounter with God, who saves us through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

| Synod Assembly Representative Needed | Saturday, May 31 Mankato, MN We need one more member to attend the Synod Assembly this spring. Decisions are made at this time such as selecting a Bishop for the SE Minnesota Synod. Contact the church office or Pastor Cheryl if you are interested in representing Faith Lutheran Church. |

| Faith Lutheran Church Scholarship | ATTENTION: HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS!! In the past three years Faith Lutheran has awarded 7 scholarships to seniors that are members of our church. Each scholarship is $500 . Applications can be obtained from the church office. The deadline for applying is April 18th. The scholarship program receives funds from the annual budget of the church and also accepts special gifts. Direct gifts must be identified to the scholarship fund and will be gratefully accepted. |
| Pantry of Faith | This month we are collecting soups, crackers, and instant oatmeal. Place the items in the Pantry of Faith box that is in front of the library windows. Thank you for your generosity. Packing bags for the Pantry of Faith on the 2nd Sunday of each month We are packing food bags for our food pantry during fellowship hour. Everyone is welcome to help pack. |
| Easter Flowers | Help decorate the altar with flowers this Easter. We will order the flowers for you from Houstons. The prices are: Easter lilies $14, mums and begonias $16. A form is available on the table by the ushers. Return the forms to the office by March 28 |
