Outreach is the crucial mission of Faith Lutheran Church.
We have several ministries to share the agape love God has given through grace to all his children. |
He said to him, " 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." Matthew 22:34-40

Pantry of Faith
This ministry is in place to offer emergency food rations to those who need them most, specifically in Dodge Center.
Potential referral sources in the area have received a letter about the ministry and how to refer an individual or family. You can help by picking up a card from the pantry area and returning the item listed to the church office. Faith has a partnership with Castillo Fuerte, a Lutheran congregation in Bogotá, Colombia, South America. "Castillo Fuerte" means "Mighty Fortress." The "a" in "Castillo" sounds like the "a" in the English word "father." The "i" sounds like the "ee" in the word "feet." The "llo" is pronounced "yo." For the word "Fuerte," the "uer" sounds like the word "where" and the final "e" like the English letter "a," like in the word "pay." Practice that a few times and you'll know a little Spanish! The picture here shows some of the congregation in front of their building in Bogotá. The sign identifies it as a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Colombia and indicates that the congregation obtained legal status on February 20, 1998. Please keep the people of Colombia, especially the people of Castillo Fuerte, in your prayers as we walk with them in faith. Almighty God, we pray for each of the individuals pictured here. Bless them, their families, and the rest of their congregation. We ask that you help us to remember them as our brothers and sisters in Christ. Amen.

U of M Extension SNAP Education ProgramWe are blessed to continue in our partnership with the U of M Extension SNAP Education Program. Community educator, Milena Nunez Garcia, facilitates courses focusing on health and nutrition targeting our community’s Hispanic families. We have the privilege of hostng this program in our beautiful facility.
